Ana stops sending messages at eleven at night. That is the measure, and everybody here would recognise it.

You own the operating budget and you decide how it is spent. You can change any process you inherit without asking permission, and you hire and shape your own team.

Production weeks run hot, roughly six a year, and we say so before you ask.

The Place You Are Joining
Twenty-six people, eleven years old, independent, and intending to stay that way.
What we do well
Thursday lunch, every week, all twenty-six of us at one table with the phones face down. It has survived three office moves and one very bad year.
Where we are struggling
Our finance function is half-built and it shows. You would be walking into both, with our hands held up about it.

How You Will Know It Is Yours
You have run operations somewhere that outgrew its systems, and you can still remember what it cost. You are sick of being the only person who writes anything down. You find the difficult conversation easy and the small talk exhausting, and you would rather fix a process once than be thanked for rescuing it eleven times.
Never asked for here
You will never be asked for a degree, a certification, or an unbroken run of years. Two of our best people came back after a long gap and neither has ever been asked to account for it.
