LOIS

Your Privacy, Held Carefully

You arrive with a working life behind you — decades of judgement, and a few chapters you would rather tell in your own words. All of it stays yours. You decide where it travels, and when.

What You Choose To Share

A name and a way to reach you. The work you have done, in as much detail as suits you on the day. The roles you are curious about. Every field on LOIS is yours to fill, leave, or empty again later.

Where It Travels

Your details reach an employer at the moment you send them, and at that moment alone. Until you decide, what you have written sits with you. An employer sees the words you chose, in the order you chose them.

How You Sign In

Your LOIS account is yours and belongs here. Joining one of the other Lamoureux businesses is a separate decision, made separately, and nothing you write on LOIS travels there because you did.

Nobody Else Is Watching

LOIS calls on no one else while you read. No analytics, no pixel, no font fetched from somebody's server, no button that reports back. Every part of this page comes from LOIS, so the only people who know you were here are us.

What Our Emails Do

Our letters arrive plain. When you follow a link, we can see that you chose to, and that is the whole of what we read. Whether a letter sat unopened in a quiet week belongs to you.

What The Site Remembers

Reading LOIS sets nothing on your machine at all. No cookie, no marker, nothing that would know you if you came back tomorrow. Once you have an account, one cookie keeps you signed in, and it goes when you sign out.

We keep a note of what people search for, so we know which work to go and find. It carries the words and the suburb and nothing that says who typed them, not even to us.

Your Account Stays As Long As You Want It

We are happy to keep your account here as long as you want, so it is waiting if you need to come back. Six quiet months change nothing. Nothing expires, nothing lapses, and nobody tidies you away.

If you would rather we deleted all of your information, tick the box on your account and we will. That is the whole of it — no reason asked for and no letter trying to change your mind.

What You Can Ask For, Any Day

A copy of all we hold, written plainly. A correction, made the day you ask. Or everything deleted, with a note back from a person confirming it is done.

Reaching A Person

Write to brilliant@lois.careers and a person reads it — the same address every letter from LOIS comes from. Not a form, not a ticket, and no reference number.
