Our studio lead has been running operations beside her own job since 2019 and it is costing us both the work and her.
Before You Answer Anything
The Place, And What A Week Is Like.A converted brick warehouse off Smith Street, and it is loud. The tram is ninety seconds away and most of us take it. Seven till three on the floor, nine till five in the studio, Friday afternoon is nobody's, and the workshop runs four days from December to February.
And honestly
We have quoted three jobs badly this year and carried the loss without telling anybody. That is the job you would be walking into.
What They Are Actually Good At
This Is What They Do Well.Work nobody else will take. A nine-metre bench with no visible legs, after three other shops said no.
And honestly
That we are too busy to fix how we quote. We have been saying it for four years and it has never once been true.

Two site visits most weeks and they are rarely close. The first year is heavy while you learn what twenty-six people already know.
